1. Overview

This Cookie Preferences page explains the choices available for cookies and similar technologies on cloudsysllc.com. It is intended to work together with the CloudSys Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. The Cookie Policy provides additional detail about the technologies currently used, and the Privacy Policy explains CloudSys's broader processing of personal information.

CloudSys uses a limited set of browser-storage and security technologies to operate the website, remember your cookie choice, protect the contact form and AI assistant from automated abuse, and remember for a short period that a form has been successfully submitted.

CloudSys does not currently use website analytics, advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising, profiling technologies, session-replay analytics, or social-media tracking pixels.

2. How Cookie Preferences Work

When the cookie-choice interface is presented, you can choose the level of optional technology you are willing to allow. The website records that choice in a first-party consent cookie named cloudsys_cookie_consent_v4 for up to one year so that the preference interface does not need to appear on every visit.

Necessary technologies remain available regardless of an optional-cookie choice because they support website security, consent management, or functionality that you request. Optional technologies, if introduced, will operate in accordance with the choice recorded through the preference center and any additional consent required by applicable law.

A previous choice to accept optional categories does not eliminate CloudSys's obligation to provide updated information or obtain renewed consent if a materially different technology or purpose is introduced and applicable law requires a new consent decision.

3. Current Cookie Categories

The preference center uses the categories below so that the website can maintain a stable consent structure as CloudSys features evolve. The category labels do not mean that CloudSys currently uses optional technologies in every category.

CategoryCurrent StatusControlPurpose
Strictly NecessaryIn useAlways activeSecurity, consent management, and functionality requested by the visitor.
FunctionalNo separate optional technologies currently in useOptional when availableSupports enhanced or nonessential website functions.
AnalyticsNot currently usedOptional when availableMeasures website use and performance when CloudSys deploys an approved analytics service.
MarketingNot currently usedOptional when availableSupports advertising or marketing measurement if CloudSys later deploys approved marketing technologies.
PreferenceNo separate optional preference technologies currently in useOptional when availableRemembers nonessential visitor choices or personalization settings if introduced.

4. Strictly Necessary

Status: Always active.

Strictly necessary technologies support functions required to operate or secure the website or provide a feature that you request. CloudSys currently uses necessary technologies to remember your cookie choice, protect the assessment form and AI assistant against automated abuse and fraud, apply server-side rate limits, and remember briefly that an assessment form was successfully submitted.

These technologies are not used by CloudSys for behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or audience profiling. Because they support requested functionality, security, or consent management, they cannot be disabled through the CloudSys preference center. You may still be able to block or delete them through your browser, but doing so can prevent protected website features from working correctly.

5. Functional

Status: No separate optional functional technologies are currently active.

Functional technologies can support enhanced website features that are useful but not strictly required. Examples can include optional integrations or convenience features that remember how a visitor uses a service.

CloudSys currently does not operate a separate set of optional functional technologies. If CloudSys introduces them, the preference center and Cookie Policy will be updated and the relevant technologies will be controlled according to applicable consent requirements.

6. Analytics

Status: Not currently used.

Analytics technologies can help a website understand audience size, page use, feature performance, navigation patterns, or technical performance. CloudSys currently does not activate Google Analytics, session replay, behavioral analytics, social analytics pixels, or comparable optional website-measurement services.

If analytics technology is introduced later, CloudSys will identify the relevant service and purpose in its cookie disclosures and obtain consent before activation where applicable law requires it.

7. Marketing

Status: Not currently used.

Marketing technologies can support advertising attribution, retargeting, cross-site behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or the measurement of advertising campaigns. CloudSys currently does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social-media advertising trackers on cloudsysllc.com.

A marketing-category control is maintained as part of the preference-center structure so that any future marketing technology can be placed behind the appropriate choice rather than being added without an applicable consent mechanism.

8. Preference

Status: No separate optional preference technologies are currently active.

Preference technologies can remember nonessential visitor choices, personalization settings, or display options. The existing first-party cookie that remembers your cookie-consent decision is treated as necessary consent-management technology rather than as an optional preference cookie.

If CloudSys later introduces nonessential preference technologies, the preference center will identify and control them as appropriate.

9. Browser and Device Controls

Most browsers allow you to inspect, block, or delete cookies and clear local site storage. Browser controls operate independently of the CloudSys preference center. The location and names of those settings vary by browser and device.

If you delete cloudsys_cookie_consent_v4, CloudSys may no longer be able to remember your previous cookie choice and the cookie interface may appear again. If you clear the one-hour form-submission local-storage value, the assessment form may reappear following a refresh.

Blocking all browser storage or security technology may prevent protected functions, including form submission or access to the AI assistant, from operating as intended.

10. Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser or device signal intended to communicate certain privacy opt-out preferences. CloudSys does not currently sell website personal information or use website technologies for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, so a GPC signal does not presently change advertising-cookie behavior on cloudsysllc.com.

If CloudSys later engages in processing for which applicable law requires recognition of GPC or another qualifying universal opt-out mechanism, CloudSys intends to recognize the applicable signal as required and update the relevant privacy and cookie disclosures.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track (DNT) setting. There is no single universally adopted legal or technical standard that requires all websites to respond to DNT in the same way. CloudSys does not currently use behavioral advertising or website analytics tracking, so DNT does not presently change those forms of tracking on cloudsysllc.com.

12. Current Technology Inventory

CloudSys does not use persistent browser storage to retain website AI-assistant conversation content. The browser chat-session token is discarded on page refresh, and the refreshed page cannot retrieve the previous conversation from browser storage.

Necessary technologies are always active because they secure the website and support features you request. Optional categories can be controlled below when technologies in those categories are available.

14.3. Withdrawal of Consent

Visitors can change or withdraw an optional-cookie choice at any time by reopening Cookie Preferences from the website footer and selecting a different option. The updated choice should replace the prior value stored in cloudsys_cookie_consent_v4.

Withdrawal should apply prospectively. It does not make previous lawful processing invalid, and it may not remove information that a third party was lawfully required to retain. Where an optional technology is active, CloudSys will stop that technology after withdrawal to the extent technically and legally required.

15. Future Changes

CloudSys may update the categories and preference-center content when website technology changes. Before deploying materially new optional analytics, advertising, profiling, personalization, or similar tracking technologies, CloudSys will update its Cookie Policy and preference center and implement any consent controls required by applicable law.

The presence of an “Accept All” preference from an earlier visit should not be treated as unrestricted consent to an undisclosed materially different purpose. CloudSys will seek renewed consent where the nature or purpose of optional processing changes enough that applicable law requires a new choice.
